According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Program (WFP), farmers in southern Madagascar, victims of three years of devastating drought, are in need of Planting their fields in time for the next planting season from December to January.
In a joint press release, the two UN food agencies stress that more funding is needed to support Malagasy farmers faced with worsening food insecurity in the south of the country.
