A plane of the World Food Programme (WFP) has dropped for the first time Wednesday a humanitarian on city of Dair az Zour, besieged by terrorists Daesh (ISIS) in eastern Syria.
A spokesman of the UN, Stephane Dujarric, said the WFP was trying to bring aid to about 200,000 people in Dair az Zour and other drops would take place in the coming days.
Syrian government forces clash in Dair az Zour terrorists of IE that have taken control of most of the province. The EI, besieging since March 2015 parts of the city held by loyalists, launched last month major new attacks in this area and has been accused of numerous abuses.
