More than 50 dead in Chinese warehouse blast
At least fifty people are now known to have died after a series of explosions in the northern Chinese city of Tianjin.
More than 700 people have been injured, according to medics.
The blasts happened on Wednesday at a warehouse that was used for storing chemicals .
Local officials said air and water pollution levels were being closely monitored and they the army was being called in to assist.
The first explosion occured at 1730 CET on Wednesday.
A stronger blast followed shortly afterwards, along with a series of smaller explosions.
